Even though our head office is located in Australia, Connect2Field has customers all over the globe and providing them with lightening speed access to Connect2Field is really important.

One of the unique benefits of using our software is that we utilize the Windows Azure CDN to maximize the speed and ease of which our customers are able to use the extensive features of Connect2Field.

The Windows Azure content delivery network (CDN) enhances end user performance and reliability by placing copies of data geographically closer to users. Microsoft has 24 servers around the world Located in the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America which means we can reach our customers wherever they are, whenever they are accessing Connect2Field!

When our customers load data from Connect2Field such as images and JavaScript files, this means they are downloaded from your nearest server at maximum speed! We think this is pretty cool and another good reason to use Connect2Field to improve your service business – no matter where your company is based we have it all covered.

SaaS has been around for a few years now and service based SMBs are taking notice in a big way. It was only 12mths ago we where being asked by our potential customers everything about SaaS , because they had little or no understanding. Now it seems they have all done their Masters on the subject and seem to know everything there is too. How did this change so rapidly? Well for one, the recession has really help advertise the finical benefits of SaaS to the SMB’s, but how do they know all the additional details of SaaS.

The answer is, service businesses are now becoming more self-educated and following the hype/discussions through Blogs, Forums, Twitter ect. This is really great news for SaaS venderssuppliers because customers are in a more education position to sign up without direct contact by phone or email. This gives venders time back to focus on research and development, new features, and integration with other applications, which in turn benefits the customers.

There are really 3 main reasons why service businesses love SaaS

1. Capital - (Cash is KING) SaaS helps maintain capital while giving business owners manageable monthly costs, which can be easily justified.

2. Availability – Managing your business from anywhere, anytime. Schedule with ease. Complete connectivity to your mobile field workers using different types of phones, Ipads, and tablets.

3. No Contracts – Try, buy, and Cancel. No longer are SMBs locked into length contracts and expensive consultant services.

Sure there are many more benefits to SaaS, but we believe these 3 reasons are what really matters to service based businesses.

We have started 2010 in a new location! As Field Connect starts to fly off into New Zealand and the UK we needed to increase our space and man power for the flood of new customers (Which already started in 2009). Our new office is located at Level 1, 27 Hotham Pde, Artarmon, NSW, 2064, Australia. The move was very easy with all our infrastructure sitting inside the Field Connect Cloud. Our new Postal Address is (for those who still send snail mail): PO BOX 1257, North Sydney, 2059 Our phone and fax numbers remain the same.
